Boston United chairman nearly quit

United chairman David Newton has
revealed he
almost quit the Unibond
Premier Division club after fresh
financial pressures.
United were left with a near-£200,000
bill after a loan taken out by previous owners was called in and York
Street's rent was increased and backdated.
Newton told BBC

away, but slept on it and changed his mind.
