Things at Chester City don't seem to be getting any better. Yesterday The Non-League Paper reported that the club may have just weeks to live and, if the accounts posted on the club’s website last week are anything to go by, the problems may be slightly more pressing than those facing Pompey right now. Chester supporters have come together in a bid to try an establish what on earth actually is going on at their club, and an open letter to those running the club is reprinted below...

When I were a mere slip of a lad, I had little professed interest in football. I grew up on the posh side of the Wirral (I could see Wales as opposed to Liverpool from my bedroom window), and those friends I had followed Liverpool or Everton. As things moved along, more and more people seemed to be interested in Tranmere. This was the late 80's, and The Whites were rubbish.
