Farsley Celtic's future was last night again thrown into doubt after it was revealed the taxman will not support the Company Voluntary Arrangement designed to save the club.

The Conference North outfit came within minutes of folding last month after their Throstle Nest home was locked by administrators only for a consortium led by president John Palmer to ride to the rescue at the last minute.
