Farenheit 2010, a teaser.

World Cup 2010
gets the expose-esque documentary treatment from South African filmmaker Craig Tanner and Levitation Films. It already caused a bit of a stir at the Durban International Film Festival and looks to repeat the trick worldwide upon it's release (date TBD).

According to the filmmakers "Fahrenheit 2010 cuts through the hype, with an uncompromising examination of what the World Cup means for South Africans themselves - in particular, who actually stands to benefit from the diversion...

Columbia and Chile don't care for the World Cup

Columbia and Chile do battle over the weekend in what is, for Columbia at least, a win or die match in their bid to travel to South Africa next summer. So important, in fact, that the Columbian FA were confident of selling out the Atansio Giradot stadium in Medelin. Capacity between 40661 and 53000 depending on your source.


Imagine their disappointment then when, as of Wednesday, they had sold the princely number of 134 tickets. That's one hundred. And thirty four.
