The FA said: "The club was yesterday placed under an immediate embargo on all player registrations for failure to pay Steve Robinson contractual salary due."

"The club was found guilty of breach of FA Rule E.1 (f) for failing to carry out an instruction of the FA and warned as to future conduct."

"If player does not receive cleared funds by 5pm on 23rd Oct Worksop Town Football Club will be suspended from all fixtures until payment is made."

The club issued a statement earlier today confirming that cash flow problems have led to a delay in the payment of staff and players, and confirmed the transfer embargo.
