Whitby Town aim to
end
their seven game winless run tomorrow at the Turnbull Ground when
Merseysiders Marine
visit in a rearranged Unibond
Premier Division clash.
Kevin Lynch's side are moored in mid-table, with five wins, seven
defeats and just one draw.
In contrast, Town have shared the spoils on five occasions.
Most
of Marine's wins can be attributed to runaway leading goalscorer Jamie
Rainford, who has already netted 11 times in 13 league matches.
The
Blues will again be without long-term injury victims Brian Close and
Alex Gildea, though hopes are high that Anthony Ormerod (groin) and
Ibrahim Hussan (knee) will recover enough to play a part.
Kick-off is the usual 3pm with admission £7.50 adults,
£4.50 concessions, £2 under 18s.
The
Blues are at league leaders Ashton United on Monday night, but Marine
is the first of three successive Saturday home games with First
Division North Warrington visiting in the FA Trophy a week tomorrow,
followed by old rivals Matlock Town in a league fixture.

WHITBY made the trip down to
Retford
United in Nottinghamshire on
Tuesday night as they bid to pull away from the drop zone –
but the
game was abandoned after 25 minutes.
It was originally believed
the match postponement was due to floodlight failure, but Retford say
this was not the case – a Central Networks power failure cut
off parts
of the town of Retford and surrounding villages.
The power went off at 8.14pm Tuesday night and was not fully restored
until 3pm the following day.
